"Spring Chick"

I love how this little Spring Chick turned out. So simple and primitive looking. The baby chick is made of drab yellow painted and stained osnaburg. Her eyes are hand embroidered. Her wings are stained burlap attached with rusty safety pins. The egg is made of warm & natural painted off-white and primitively stained. The tie is made of cheese cloth painted light blue and stained. The baby chick is weighted and will sit on her own. She is approx. 7" tall to the top of her beak and 6" wide. If you feel "needful" of Spring Chick, she will come signed and dated to your home. This is a Kentucky Primitives pattern.

"Mothie"

If you love old prim cats done in the Netty LaCroix style then this is the one for you. She is made of painted and grunged muslin that has been put through the primming process to give her that old, time worn look. Her nose is needle sculpted and her mouth is hand embroidered. Her eyes are clay buttons that look old and worn. Her whiskers are black linen thread. She is approx. 9" tall and 14" wide to the tip of her tail. If you feel "needful" of Mothie, she will come signed and dated to your home.

"Primitive Sheep"

This extreme primitive sheep is made of grunged osnaburg that has been put through a several stage primming process. The body is partially rag stuffed for that old thyme feel and the legs are old rusty square-head nails. There is a rusty bell tied around the neck with aged twine. The poem on the side is printed on aged parchment and also tied on with aged twine. There is sweet annie tucked here and there. The tail is made of warm & natural and is attached with a rusty safety pin. The sheep is appox. 7" tall and 9" wide. If you feel "needful" of this primitive sheep, it will come signed and dated to your home. This is a GREAT Kentucky Primitives pattern.

"Lulu and Jack"

"Dear Lord, make me mindful of the little things."
Lulu and Jack are the cutiest little bunnies. Pictures do not do them justice. Their heads are made of heavily stained muslin. Their eyes are black clay beads and their whiskers are natural linen thread. Lulu's collar is light pink stained warm & natural and Jack's is light blue. They have aged twine bows attached to their collars. Their bodies are made of painted and heavily grunged warm & natural and they have two rusty bells sewn on their bellies. The poems are printed on aged parchment and are attached with rusty safety pins. Little sprigs of preserved sweet annie has been tucked in. Their arms and legs are real sticks with bits of spanish moss tucked in. They are each approx. 13" tall (to the tips of their ears) and 11" wide. If you should feel "needful" of Lulu and Jack, they will come signed and dated to your home. This is a GREAT Kentucky Primitives pattern.
